A holistic treatment aims to affect not just the body but the mind and spirit too. Your chosen treatment will ease muscular tension and relax you, but it will also balance out your whole body's systems, so that everything works in harmony as it should.
From the start, I aim to make your treatment that extra bit special. I work from a relaxing and comfortable Therapy Room at my home, decorated in the calming tones of lilac and violet. On entering this tranquil environment, you are welcomed by the gentle aroma of pure essential oils, flickering candles and soothing music.
Treatments are personalized to suit how you feel on that day: do you want to feel relaxed, pampered or invigorated? Do you want to address sore aching muscles, balance out your hormones or just in need or some "me time". Whatever your needs, I can provide a treatment just right for you.
During the body treatments, I begin by using steamed towels to cleanse your feet and to warm your body. At all times I respect your modesty by draping your body with towels and blankets, keeping you feeling nurtured and pampered. On warmer days, I will cleanse the feet with cool towels and refreshing rose water, and drape your body with cotton sarongs.
At Shine Thru Holistics, you will also find a range of products that complement your treatment, allowing you to continue the feeling of relaxation at home. These include the gorgeous range of Bath and Massage Oils from Absolute Aromas as well as a selection of unusual Oil Burners and incense including the popular Nag Champa.
Also, I am introducing the lovely aromatherapy skin and body care range from Eve Taylor. Eve Taylor products do not contain mineral oil, alcohol or artificial fragrance, but unite the very best of plant essences with the needs of the skin. The cleanser, toner and moisturisers are also available in a handy travel size, at under £5 each, which is a great way to try the range at a low cost to you.
